Taos shoes are designed in Southern California, but produced in Portugal and other various European Countries. The design of these shoes take a lot of influences from the city for which the company is named Taos, New Mexico, using natural stone colors and embroidery in many of there styles. What makes Taos stand out is there anatomically designed foot beds which provide excellent support and comfort. Many of their shoes feature an orthotic-friendly design with removable memory foam foot beds, and 100% natural cork foot beds on many of their sandals and wedges.
